The Smart WikisTM, a product developed by our partners at Tacit Connexions, is a content and adaptive process management platform that surrounds users with seamless and non-obtrusive forms of task, content, process, and information assistance. It provides:

  • Dynamic representation of content based on user’s role, identity, and activity
  • Semantic search and information presentation:
    • At its simplest, a demonstrator is usually a stand-alone system with an internal repository of document and data sources (document and data repositories and representative data) that will be included in the final enterprise system build out
    • The enterprise build out includes additional capability with connection to external data sources and increased range to encompass document and data repositories and enterprise applications (e.g., financial, engineering, or human resource enterprise applications)
  • It has the ability to “learn” from use; shows greater range and accuracy of content presented to uses as it expands and has more user interaction
  • It is configured to print selected content and pages chosen by the user
